“The right introduction, made with care, can change the course of someone’s care.”
Most of Luke’s work starts with an introduction.
Luke has spent about a decade in US serious illness care, working alongside the hospices, home health agencies, palliative programs, and the alliances and associations that convene them, including his time at C-TAC. Today he works between Phoenix and Barcelona, in English and Spanish.
What ties the work together is people. In a given week that might mean introducing a caregiving founder to a PACE program, helping a Barcelona startup think through its first US buyer, or passing someone’s CV along to a person they should meet. He believes the right introduction, made with care and followed up properly, can change the course of a company, and sometimes of someone’s care. That’s the whole point of 1A: someone who speaks the language of the people doing the admitting, on both sides of the Atlantic, and treats every relationship like it matters.
1A Consulting exists to put that relationship equity to work: warm, credible doors instead of cold outreach, and a sequence that proves the model in one lane before expanding.
And he’s always up for a coffee, whether that’s a cortado in Barcelona, an iced coffee in Phoenix, or a video call somewhere in between. Drop Luke a note →
Luke has always loved flying, and he’s a window seat person.
Seat 1A is the first window on the plane: front row, where you can see the route ahead before anyone else does.
That’s the seat we try to take for our clients: a clear view of the whole landscape, enough altitude to see where the market is going, and someone beside you who has flown the route before.
A full view of the terrain: every buyer, channel, and door, not just the next meeting.
Altitude and perspective. We track the long arc of the market, above the noise.
Close to the people steering: briefed introductions, clear follow up, nothing left to chance.
Every introduction is named, briefed, and debriefed. Credibility travels with the relationship.
We start where the model is strongest, then scale from a win.
Conveners who set the agenda and providers who do the admitting, we hold both, and connect them.
